Introduction
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the PurgedX mobile application (the “App”), published by Antony Carmona (“the Editor”). By accessing or using PurgedX, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with the Terms, you may not use this app.
Purpose of the App
PurgedX is designed to help users reduce or quit porn consumption through a suite of tools, progress tracking, and motivational features. The app’s core metaphor is “fighting a porn demon” to inspire self-discipline and motivate positive change. The app is provided strictly as a self-improvement resource.
Not Medical Advice
PurgedX is not a medical, psychological, or therapeutic service and does not diagnose or treat addiction or mental health conditions. If you experience serious difficulties, we strongly recommend consulting a qualified professional.
Eligibility
The App is available for individuals aged 16 and above. Users must provide a valid email address to register.
User Responsibilities
Users agree to use the app in accordance with the law. Impersonation, identity fraud, reverse engineering, unauthorized modification, or attempting to access or extract source code is strictly prohibited. Users may not upload, share, or otherwise distribute illegal, pornographic, hateful, or harmful material. If future features enable journaling or messaging, this rule will apply. Each user is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials.
Accounts & Data
Accounts are managed via Firebase Authentication. User data is stored securely and only used to provide app features. For more on privacy, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
Subscriptions & Payments
If subscriptions or payments are offered, billing is managed entirely through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. All subscriptions, cancellations, or refund requests must be handled through these respective platforms.
Limitation of Liability
The Editor does not guarantee the app’s effectiveness for quitting pornography, nor is liable for any technical issues, outages, or loss of data not caused by gross negligence. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Editor is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or unpredictable damages. Use of the app is at your sole risk.
Intellectual Property
All content, names, visuals, code, and logos of PurgedX are exclusive property of the Editor. Reproduction, duplication, or modification without prior written consent is strictly prohibited.
Modifications to the Terms
The Editor reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Termination
The Editor may suspend or terminate user accounts at their discretion in case of Terms violation. Users may delete their accounts at any time.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed in accordance with the laws applicable in the Editor’s country of residence.
